Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026
This privacy policy applies to all apps published by PavApps, including Attended, Contested, and any future apps released under the PavApps name.

Who We Are

PavApps is an independent iOS app studio based in Australia. We build practical, well-crafted apps for everyday use. If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us at:
Email: support@pavapps.com.au Website: www.pavapps.com.au

Our Approach to Privacy

We believe your data is yours. PavApps apps are built with a privacy-first approach — we collect only what is strictly necessary for the app to function, and nothing more. We do not run advertising networks, sell data, or track you across apps or websites.

Data Collection by App

Attended
Attended stores all data — including student or participant names, groups, terms, attendance records, and notes — locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to any server, never shared with third parties, and never used for analytics or advertising. The app works entirely offline.

Contested
Contested stores tournament data locally on your device. If you choose to use the Live Sharing feature, tournament match data (scores, team names, match results) is synced via Apple's CloudKit infrastructure to allow co-organisers and spectators to view live results. This data:

  • Is stored in your personal iCloud account

  • Is only shared with devices that have been given your Admin Code or Spectator Code

  • Is never accessed by PavApps

  • Can be deleted at any time by deleting the tournament

Contested does not collect any personal information about you or your participants.

Future Apps
All future PavApps apps follow the same privacy-first principles. Any data collection specific to a new app will be documented in this policy when that app is released.
iCloud & CloudKit
Some PavApps features use Apple's CloudKit to sync data between your devices or share data with others you invite. In these cases:

  • Data is stored in your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's privacy policy

  • PavApps has no access to your iCloud data

  • You can disable iCloud sync at any time in your device's Settings

Apple's privacy policy is available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
PavApps apps may offer one-time purchases or auto-renewable subscriptions, processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. All billing is managed by Apple.

Push Notifications

Where apps offer local notifications (such as reminders), these are scheduled entirely on your device. No data is sent to any server to deliver them.

Third-Party Services

PavApps apps do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook SDK, or any similar service.

Children's Privacy

PavApps apps are designed to be safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Apps used in educational settings (such as Attended) store only the information you choose to enter, locally on your device.

Data Deletion

To delete all data associated with a PavApps app, simply delete the app from your device. All locally stored data is permanently removed. For any CloudKit-synced data (such as Contested shared tournaments), deleting the tournament within the app removes it from CloudKit.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time as new apps are released or features change. The updated date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
